LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas has three new City Council members, a North Las Vegas councilman kept his seat and Boulder City is getting a new mayor and two new council members after voters went to the polls in municipal elections Tuesday.

Boulder City voters picked Councilman Kiernan McManus to serve as mayor over incumbent Rob Woodbury, who had held the office since 2015.

James Adams and Claudia Bridges ousted incumbent council members Peggy Leavitt and Rich Shuman in Boulder City, while incumbent North Las Vegas Councilman Richard Cherchio beat back a challenge from Pete Shields.

In Las Vegas, former Assemblywoman Olivia Diaz defeated Melissa Clary in the city’s 3rd Ward, while Brian Knudsen won a seat in the city’s 1st Ward over Robin Munier.

Former Assemblywoman Victoria Seaman won a special election for the city’s 2nd Ward, defeating seven others.
